Scholarships
Higher education has a positive impact on long-term self-sufficiency, so we offer youth scholarships to local high school seniors (in Washington, DC, Western Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland) to help offset college expenses. One of our primary goals through this initiative is to help our youth participants realize their full potential!
Brenda Lee Scholarship
The Brenda Lee Undergraduate and Upperclassmen scholarships were created to honor Brenda and her lifelong advocacy for higher education.
Essex Law
Student-Athlete Scholarship
The Essex Law Student-Athlete Scholarship awards $4,000 annually to an admirable student-athlete with a minimum high school GPA of 2.5.
Jamaur Law Foundation Scholarship
The JLF Scholarship will be awarded to a student that demonstrates positive character traits, including determination, perseverance, and a desire to learn.
Our scholarships are open to high school seniors located in the DMV area, including Washington, D.C., Prince George’s County, Charles County, Montgomery County, Northern VA, and Western Pennsylvania.
