Our vision is to introduce and expand financial literacy among those who need it most in communities everywhere, starting with those closest to home in the DC Metro Area. We aim to change lives by helping those in our community make more informed decisions when navigating financial systems. Our work begins with children as young as five years old, and we stay with them throughout their lives. Our holistic approach to curriculum allows us to inspire participants of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds to rewrite their financial narratives.

Here are just a few of the ways we use donations to support members of our community:

allows us to provide a week’s worth of groceries for a family of 4, something that’s unattainable for many low-income families.

allows us to provide monthly groceries, basic needs, and transportation support to a family of 4.

allows us to provide a youth scholarship to a local high school senior to help them offset postsecondary education expenses.

allows us to offer financial literacy courses to an unlimited number of individuals in need of a pathway toward self-sufficiency.

Our transformational model builds participants' financial literacy

SMART MONEY

Our accessible financial literacy program empowers students to take control of their finances by learning money management, goal-setting, budgeting, and more.

FOOD INSECURITY

Our approach provides real-time, emergency food resources to those in need while developing self-reliance and healthy habits. Limited food access is often correlated to low financial literacy.

SUPPORTING OUR HEROES

Our philanthropic efforts reflect our commitment to supporting veterans & their families. We strive to create a brighter future through financial literacy instruction, workshops, and community collaboration to secure much-needed resources.
