Jamaur Law, B.S.B.A., is the Founder and Executive Director of the Jamaur Law Foundation. He began his educational journey in the Aliquippa School District and completed it at Rochester Area High in Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Slippery Rock University.
Jamaur was fortunate to gain athletic scholarships to compete on a collegiate level. The experiences he gained allowed him to connect with the students and understand what it takes to be a successful student-athlete.
In 2014, he moved from Pennsylvania to Maryland and took a job in the finance department of a public relations firm in Washington, DC. After three years at the firm, Jamaur moved to education. He spent his first two years teaching in the Prince George’s County School District and the last five years in Washington, DC. Jamaur has taught financial literacy classes to middle school students and adults of all ages for the past six years.
Jamaur has a beautiful wife and five children. In his spare time, he enjoys attending business and sporting events, traveling, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and advancing his education. Jamaur recognized his integral role in shaping students for educational success, ultimately affecting the school district and surrounding communities. As a result, he was compelled to introduce his financial literacy program to give back to students, educators, families, and families in the community.
